Respectful and heart-felt Greetings to all readers Worldwide.

I want to extend my sincere thanks to all those of you who have accepted this website (gordonmabbutt.com) as a platform to progressively tackle our local areas of Pollution that is currently severely endangering our World.

Whilst we, individually, tackle only a minute portion of the World Pollution the global achievement of our small local efforts is multiplied so much that it becomes and forms an extremely huge and important part of eliminating Pollution in our World.

Your feedback is very encouraging and helps to set the example for others to follow and adopt in their parts of our World.

Pollution is a far greater danger to our future than COVID19 yet that continues to make headlines across the World.

Complacency is our greatest enemy and a problem at the present time and it needs our dedicated determination to be overcome and allow us to take what action we can to eliminate Pollution wherever and whenever we can.

AND IN OUR WORLD AT LARGE?

Keeping abreast of World News we learn that many Governments have opted to allow their Countrymen to resume their working activities notwithstanding the fact that we do not have a vaccine for Covid19.

They are faced with the dilemma that, if they would insist on further lockdown, their country’s economy would possibly face bankruptcy or serious financial setbacks.

Unfortunately we have seen further peaks of the Covid19 in a number of Countries.

From a positive point of view many Companies have been enamoured by office staff working on line from home where possible, mainly opting for a working week based on Monday physically at the Office, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday working from home and Friday again at the Office thereby reducing car/train/travel pollution emissions for these employees by at least half.

This is a huge step in the right direction end should be expanded in each company as far as possible.

Business Travel by Air has fallen too across the World, and from personal experience I know that much of it is really unnecessary and can be replaced by video calls which are just as effective and pollution free. Plant and Production Inspections presently remain the exception.

A World Plan to eliminate World Pollution, signed up by all Countries, has not yet been achieved although slow progress is being made. Scientists are still being ignored to some extent.

It seems to me that the World right now is needing a prominent spokesman to which all Countries would look up to and be prepared to follow.

Dear Sir or Madam, where are you?

Meanwhile, dear friends, keep the spirit of our cause within your hearts and show our world flag……it feels good to be doing such important good deeds, does it not?

Action now is important and we will talk again about our progress in the next Issue No 3.
